Challenge

Executing Projects in an occupied High Rise Building; Working at Industrial Sites with intense safety requirements; Emergency Service for the Electrical Utility to help ensure the Power stays on for the Midwest Power Grid!

Solution

Earn ComEd/Exelon's Trust, and build a firm understanding of their expectations. Build a team of Task Manager Trained Superintendents and Tradespeople that understand what it takes to work in a ComEd/Exelon facility.

It started with a shower renovation… a little tile, new fixtures, and a new shower curtain…

Ten years later, Trinidad has completed hundreds of projects for ComEd/Exelon in facilities ranging from ComEd reporting centers, electrical substations, NERC facilities, Emergency Storm Rooms, and High Rise Offices.

The upper ten floors of Chicago’s iconic Chase Tower serve as the downtown headquarters for Exelon.  Trinidad has served as the General Contractor for multiple, full-floor, tenant improvement and remodel projects.  In all Trinidad has completed hundreds of thousand of feet of High Rise Renovation in the building.

Trinidad has completed numerous large scale renovations in many of ComEd’s most critical facilities.   This has included major ceiling and lighting replacements; office and conference room remodels; locker room and cafeteria remodels, renovations of critical Storm Rooms, and work inside of ComEd’s Electrical Substations, and NERC facilities.

Trinidad’s facility service team provides on-going service work for ComEd/Exelon throughout Illinois, on a daily basis.

Trinidad Construction was awarded “Supplier of the Year” by Exelon Corporation in 2019!
